Hello all

Can you suggest what after market battery you would suggest I could fit to a Gen 2 turbo. I fitted one to my 996 a few years ago from Euro parts (bosch) which was perfect and easy to fit but being a newer car maybe not so easy so thoughts please.

Thanks Phil

Hi Phil,
I can't see it being too dissimilar.... I put the Bosch S5 on my 4S & purchased it through carpart4less which is the online subsidiary of ECP
You get an extra 15% off when spending over £100....
I paid circa £86 & delivered free

Extended warranty in place - OEM Moll battery
Non-extended warranty - Bosch S5

Or use Bosch day to day and put the Moll back in when going for a service.
(Keeping the Moll on a trickle charge)

So when the car breaks down and is recovered to a PC for warranty repair you put the Moll back in when? [;)] Apart from not checking the Ctek was properly connecting my original battery is still going after nearly 7 years so I would see no reason to change.
