Looking to buy a set new,I need magnesium centre part number and size width of inner ,outer rim halves etc etc

I used to have alu e88 ,they were 8.5 fr and 10 rear
I'm thinking 8 and. 9.5 this time, any recommendation would be appreciated

Your post would suggest otherwise, but I thought the mag e28 was no longer in production, superceded by the ali e88 ??? Otherwise I'm afraid I can't be of much assistance - I do have a set of mag e28s, but they are 17". I suspect the centres are probably different part numbers for 18" ? If not I will look them up for you.

Cheers,I have asked the question and I am told I can get them,is had e88 which were lovely, but I just love the look of magnesium bbs....love to see a photo your 17s
What widths and et are they? Interesting ,must be very light as my e88 in 8.5 and 10 were same weight as oe cup1 mags!!

They are 7x17 et55 and 9x17 et49. The centres are silver, which I don't really like (I know they are gold underneath thanks to some chips in the silver paint !). I haven't weighed them, but it wouldn't surprise me if they were lighter than the Cup1 mags. I'll try and find some pics........they would benefit from a refurb, but that seems like a complicated job given the different materials involved which all require different treatment. For choice I would have the rims anodised to make them a bit more durable.

Simon Bartington has a set of E28 Mags which he could possibly give you the part numbers from.

They were used on my Maritime N-GT for a long time, great wheels. I believe 8j front and 9.5 j rear, they were built by BBS for a 964RS .... and 18" of course.

Hope this works.........

I still have them and they are not sold, I will get to the storage place and get the details - have a new set of rubber on them now!

If it's the wheels I've got on one of my cars, see pic, then the part number on it is 0228040.
