I agreed to purchase the Blue 993 cab with 47k on it from theethem yesterday based on the detail provided by their salesperson. So took the train from Oxford to Maidstone, was shown the car which was ok, went for a test drive a few annoying rattles but otherwise ok
Went to check the paperwork which has been serviced by them for the last 10 years or so, yes a major in 2002, standard in 2006 and standrd in 2012 when they last sold it! The other 3 stamps for 07,08,09 were pre mot inspections. So ws have only 10 service stamps in the service book and 3 of those don't count!
Anyway the good points, a/c worked, drove well it had a new roof last year, had all the Mots back to 1999 with just one missing and all the invoices back to then as well so the mileage is genuine. If anyone interested still car hasn't had plugs, belts, lubricants, fuel filter done since 2002, could do with new rear tyres on age and rear discs.
