A heads up that on June 28th there is a Polo match at the Beaufort grounds near Westonbirt run by the Club's charity Hope for Tomorrow. There is an article about it in the current issue or Porsche Post. It is usually a great day out - you can just take your Porsche for £5 with a picnic and watch the play or buy a place at the champagne reception and lunch for the princely sum of £90 but with the chance of meeting one of the famous race drivers that usually attend. There is dedicated Porsche parking. The Founder, Christine Mills was, with her late husband, the manager of Derek Bell in his Porsche glory years and he usually makes an appearance. Stirling Moss is the Patron and drivers such as Richard Attwood and David Piper often attend. The Club made a major donation after the Silverstone Classic on-track record, and is helping them again this year. They provide highly valuable mobile chemotherapy units to the NHS already now in nine counties and have ambitions to provide national coverage. Well worth while supporting and a great day out.

Sadly Fiona and I won't be able to attend due to another commitment in London but hope other members will be able to support this event.
