Phil,

Forgot to say thanks for organizing before leaving.

An Excellent turn out and some classic colours.

Here's a few photos:

Thanks all to those who brought their cars along for show.

I've now become and 356 convert and want one!!!!!!

Thanks to Phil and all involved in the Beaulieu event nice to see such a lot of early cars I hope to come to next years event

Looks as though it was a good event.

My tickets never arrived so we looked at the weather forecast, flipped a coin and decided to make alternative arrangements - cancelled our hotel booking, etc, but now I wish we hadn't [&o]

A great day - thanks to all those who put in the hard work! Amazing weather considering how bad the forecast was. Report coming up in 911 & PW for all those who missed the 'action'.

Again, well done all!

Thank YOU all for turning up.

It was really uplifting to see so many cars and people . . . . . makes it all worth while for me.

Next year will be better . . . . we've proved there is support for such an event . . . we can build on this, getting a better balance between static 'display' and things to do.

I didn't get much of a chance to take photo's . . . and would like some for the mag (and as an archive) . . . please send any photo's you have to 911@porscheclubgb.com (the bigger the better).

Once again thanks.

Phil

Congratulations all involved in the organisation. It was an amazing site to see such a gathering of wonderful cars. Well done Phil and anybody else, your efforts paid off. All the DDK rabble had a great time, thanks again [:D][;)]

Had a great time too, good turn out and drive down in my VW Vento was quite pleasant. Almost forgotten the fact that my car failed its MOT the day before. Anyone want to give me a quote for replacing front suspension crossmember panel ?

Garfield

p.s Didn't catch up with Dave or Gavin ? Were you guys there ?

Good old ( less of the old ) Viv and his car it's an amazing car for sure.

Phil I can confirm that the Express by Holiday inn Southamton West is available for next year. So this I am sure will help people who live further away to drive down have a break over night, and enjoy the show. I know of a few people who would have not come because it was too far, who were glad of the venue.

Top show can only get bigger. Well done Phil and the team.

Same time next year?

Phil next time bring a Porsche....

Car picture here

Phil next time bring a Porsche....

Funny . . .

I reckon mine was the dirtiest Porsche there - - crammed full of gazebo, chairs, table, signs etc.

I love this . . . we issued a number of trophies (well more like gestures . . . but excellent none the same) . . . whilst the GCCG presented the 'Queen of the Fest' trophy. Perhaps we should adopt this for next year[:D].

Phil

I would like to add my thanks to all concerned in organising the event esp. Mark, Jo & Phil.
Top job guys.

Is it just my imagination or does that pic show Viv's best side?

That was one awesome car and a great event too!

Here's to next year and another 500 mile round trip - it was well worth it.

My tickets have just arrived but the postmark says 10th May [&o]
Anyone know whether you can take up these sort of issues with the Post Office? - they're making a profit, talking about putting first class post up to 48p and I'm out of pocket by £25 [8|]

Send them back to Fred with an explanation (and another SAE if I were you) . . . . he should give you a refund.

No refund [8|].
Despite me posting notice on the forum prior to the event to say that they hadn't arrived the Club say I should have informed Fred.

I'm off to Le Mans tomorrow . . . so won't be able to sort this out until my return . . . . but sort it out I will . . . . you'll get your refund.

Phil
