It took me 6 hours to get there, 7 hours to get home through hail and thunder storms and £120 in petrol.
It was amazing to see at least 100 911's, 30 356's and very disappointing to see only 10 912's. What happened to the 40 talked about and to celebrating the anniversary?
It's no wonder the PCGB doesn't take 912's seriously.

was well worth the trip..we went down the night before and had a great nightout with a group from DDK.

heres my 912 at the show [8D]

The whole event was a success and I hope every one enjoyed what Southampton had to offer. The hotel offered a perfect base for the event. Big thanks to Will for being out all night in the wind and rain walking around the cars making sure they were safe and sound. What you guys did not know was the Police also knew about the event and we had about 4 visits during the night to back Will up. Plus they get a free coffee. Who said we bribe them [8|]

car park

Hope you all like Fruit I know Tom and the boys did, 4 am Tom ........[;)] And La Lupa for the great food and atmostphere.

La Lupa's

On the day it's self the Hotel start was fun. If any one was going to have a lie in then they were out of luck with 32 Porsches starting there engines the sound was amazing.

On the way there the convoy of about 20 cars was a sight for sure.

The event for the 912's was represented by 10 912's. The weather was fab it looked like it would rain on the weather reports. But for all that took the risk theywere rewarded with sun sun sun.

912's lined up.

My 912

Great day out and we topped it off with this..

Old English afternoon tea rooms

Tea and scones.

But on the way back we broke down. I think the coil fired I have yet to look at it but loss of power and the RAC were great. But still a fab day out and she only let us down 6 miles from home.

Good on you for making the trip (and thanks to everyone that turned up). . . can't understand why there weren't more 12's . . . . I'm worried about Gav, as he was ment to turn up but didn't and I haven't heard from him . . . just hope he simply forgot and it's nothing more serious[8|].

Same here. I will try calling him later today I did call him the night before. His car was not ready as the guy working on the car was unable to get the work finished in time. He also was very adamant he was coming down for sure I think with Stuart. Hope all is well with them all.

Hi All

In reply to Daisy,I personally think the Club takes all Models of Porsche seriously.
the main problem with the 912 is that there are not a lot about and the cost of renovation is some times not seen to be worth the effort.Anybody driving both 912`s and 356`s will tell those who are prepared to listen, that these cars can give a huge amount of driving pleasure and excitement without finishing up with brown trousers!

I am sorry Mary and I missed you all this weekend ,but we had promised Tony and Harriet Shannon that we would put our 356 on display at their event.

Have Fun

Dansk Sports exhaust .

One problem it hits the body work. Even though it's for a 912. I have lower the engine 1/2" don't tell Andy Prill. I am looking for a back board for sensible money and I am going to cut the edges around the pipes to alow it to sit better with out hitting the body. It was E400's £280 ish. Mad moment don't ask. It sounds Beetle at the moment but I think it is cos it's new. I have spoken to a 356 guy who has one and he says it sounds better as it gets older until i heard his I can wait!!!! [:D]

I got it from Mettelmotor in Germany..LARS
