Becker 7800 Online Pro Satnav?

I've just purchased a 996 which has a Becker 7800 online Pro Satnav system fitted in 2003 for a not inconsiderable £1600.00. It has a telephone style handset attached to the side of the dash and I haven't got a clue how to use it.

Does anyone have any experience of using this unit?

Is it any good?

Is it worth keeping in?
