Becker Indianapolis Pro

I have tried to change my CDR-220 for a Becker Indianapolis Pro, but on fitting it there was no sound at all. The volume scale on the screen was going up and down, but nothing through the speakers. Does anyone have any idea what the problem could be. My car is a 2001 C4 with non most and it does not have Bose. I put my old unit back in and all is fine. Don't understand what the problem is, all connections are the same. Any advice would be appreciated.[:(]

Do you have the M490 sound package? If it has door speakers, it has it. If so, you need to supply a switched feed to wake up the amp. It is present on the CDR-220, but it might not be on the Indianapolis. If you have M490, I have a wiring diagram to show where to put the switched feed. Drop me an email, and I'll attach it to areply when I get to my PC in the morning.

I looked at the Indianapolis installation guide, and it does not have the 12v output to wake up the amp, which (if you have M490) is why you aren't getting any sound. You need to disconnect the Black/Red wire from the Yellow plug (Pin 6) and connect a switched feed to the wire. Most people tap in to the White wire connected to pin 5 of the Black power plug.
