Becker Traffic Pro & Porsche H/Free Microphone

Hi all,

Has anyone eve fitted a Becker Traffic Pro and used the 996 hands free micrphone that 'appears' to be in the instrument area ?

Having removed a CDR 22 it seems there is wiring there for a phone mic, however the original car did not have a phone so I don't know if the mic is 'actually' in the dash or not - but it is wired from the stereo ( so I presume it is there ??? )

Any thoughts on whether the mic is there - and if it works - or thoughts on the Becker Pro would be helpful - many thanks.
 
Gently lever it out, and what you will find is either a blanking plug that looks like a mic, or a mic with wires attached. TBH it isn't a good place for it - ask those who have them.

Good choice of stereo though. I have heard lots of good things about them, and you are lucky to have found one. Becker don't supply aftermarket units any more.
