Bedford track day now clashes with PCGB national ????

Hello folks,

I just called the club shop to discuss the way ahead with the bedford track day.

They have moved the date to August 30th which is the first day of the PCGB national event why?. This kills the event for me, which is a shame as its the only one i really wanted to attend, having been there as a spectator before and the track is so safe with only one corner that has a barrier.

I dont understand why they would change the date to clash with our own event there are already 25 people booked and room for another 40 so potentially thats 65 people that arent going to be at the national that day, a bit concerning as I will be paying to exhibit at the national along with many others and we are supposed to have a 3.2 register marquee there as well.

Maybe I am missing something? I will ask Steve Devlin. and report back.

Regards Simon
