Chaps,

As has been discussed on the Titanic eMail list, there is a small group of us going for a beer and curry in London on Monday 16th April. We will be meeting somewhere near Liverpool Street station at 7.30pm, supping the odd half or two of ale and moving on to a curry house on Brick Lane for some sustanance.

If you would care to join us you'd be more than welcome. Let me know by PM'ing me or reply here ....

ETA: We will definately meet at The Shooting Star pub, opposite Liverpool Street station. Link here:

Nice one Oli [8D]

Shame it's not at that Chinese we went to at Christmas with plenty of parking.

Is there any parking near Brick Lane? NCP, meter or otherwise? I presume it's in the congestion charge zone?

Paul,

Venue is not fixed, but changing it at this remove would perhaps be a bit tricksy.

HOWEVER, Brick Lane is not in the congestion charge zone, and there is parking nearby. Free at that time of night as well. You are coming from some distance - non? I'd suggest that the bays in front of St Leonards Church (link below) would be good - busy-ish well-lit area, free from 7.00pm onwards. And less than 5 minute walk to Brick Lane, probably 10 minutes to the pub.
