belts etc 944 S2 cab

Hello everyone, new to this so would greatly appreciate some advice. I have a metallic grey 944 S2 cabriolet which has done about 72,000 mls. I currently do about 3000 mls a year. Just looked at this forum and panic has set in as the belts were last changed at 30,000 mls about 8 yrs ago.
Does anyone know a competent specialist in rural, sleepy Suffolk?
Many thanks.

Hi,
I was in a similar situation with my newly acquired '92 944 cab. 94k 8-9 years and 30k since last change. Also doing low annual miles like yourself.

I got the belts , rollers, water pump and chain done. Cost a small fortune but now have piece of mind.

I suggest you post (if not already) on your local PCGB regions forum page and see what recommendations for specialists they come up with.

Cheers
Ian

Hi Adrian,
I can suggest an Independent on the Essex/Suffolk border, in Coggeshall.
They are Autostrasse on 01376 562922. Give Ken or Alan a ring and I'm sure they will try to help. In my opinion they don't come much better and they have been in business for many years, consequently know our cars inside out.
