Can someone explain why the 944 Technical reps Email address has been censored?

Surely its not political correctness and just an oversight?[]

Hi Phil,

Well said Peter!!!

Perhaps some people are taking this too seriously???

I can see where you are coming from especially as this list hasn' t been here very long. Looking through the list though, many of the respondents have witnessed Berts enthusiasm and free assistance on other lists, and feel the need to support him here, he gives up a large amount of his time and a URL is small reward. I dread to think how much time keeping up with multicar lists takes up and yet he is on many of them, and yes he may find it helps his business, but if the time / reward factore was so great why are all the other companies not in the chat rooms / forums helping out.
Bert is an enthusiast (of the cars, the marque and the club) first, and a businessman second - if he one the lottery today and gave up work, I am sure he would still contribute to the forums - (maybe from a yacht somewhere warmer).

Banner advert posts could be a problem but a URL which requires clicking isn' t.

I have seen mails from Bert way otside of office hours to help out people with urgent problems - and quite often not involving a sale from him, that kind of dedication deserves encouragment

Speaking as someone who has had 2 Posts deleted because of humorous content not understood , it doesn' t surprise me that PCGB are acting in a very high handed mannner. One of the very great benefits to me of the Club has been the cameraderie , friendship and ruthless banter between members, it' s just a pity PCGB are not entertaining this in the forum.

I agree

I have been a long term participant of both Rennlist (paid up member) and Titanic
Occasionally things are misunderstood but there has never been any censorship (to my knowledge) and things generally stay on topic. There is a real sense of community and I have gained a great deal and hopefully given something back

One of the most unforgiveable things on this board is the lack of communication from the Admins. Surely it must be a matter of simple courtesy to send someone an email if you are going to remove the post explaining why(or better still edit it)

I too have experienced the camaraderie and friendship both virtually and at Trackdays

David
Hoping this one will make it/not be deleted
