Best alloy options for a 1997 Boxster...?

Hi all
One of my alloys has a bit of damage (i.e. its not exactly round anymore...!) and in looking to replace it I discovered that the wheels aren't original Porsche but 18" ETA BETA after markets which is a) not ideal given I told my insurers the car hadn't been modded at all and b) I understand it's not recommended to use 18" on Boxsters?

I'm therefore looking to get shot of them and swap out for some 'original' 17" wheels, but again aware due to the offset that only certain wheels will fit. Having trawled fleabay I'm struggling to identify which will or won't fit my little old wagon (there are lots for the more modern Boxsters but very few for the 1997 version - and even fewer that are in any way attractive!) so wondered if anyone had any thoughts / recommendations please?

Or indeed, any to sell...! ;)

Thanks all
Em

You can repair alloys if they have a flat spot.

Suitable alternatives ? I would suggest all 986 alloys will suit. The larger wheels will adversely affect handling (assuming they are heavier). A popular 18"'wheel is the Porsche sport design, by BBS Which is a nice light wheel and readily available.
