Best Independent in Norfolk?

I have recently bought my first 993 and need to service it. So far it has always been serviced by a main dealer, but the view seems to be that an independent will have more knowledge and enthusiasm of older models. If, so, can anyone recommend one please. I live in Diss Norfolk.

Is there any point in keeping with a main dealer? I would appreciate your help.

You will find that most of us avoid the main dealers. They are too expensive and have a reputation for doing a sub-standard job. They are not really interested in the air-cooled models, and the independants are more likely to do a good job for the most part. It won't affect the resale of your car, and most people would prefer to see independants in the service book rather than a Main Stealer.

I wouldn't say that, but I think most people that know about Porsches are not concerned by a non-OPC stamp in a service book, so long as it's a known indi. Plus there are some good OPC's out there (apparantly). [:D]

If you post the thread in the appropriate Region you may get a better response to the Indi's around Norfolk.
