I've pinched this idea from the 997 forum...............what's your best memory from any club event or funniest story from 2009?

Pictures allowed as long as they are not toooooo rude......like the ones going round from the Nurburgring trip this year!!

My memories have to be the recent Knockhill smash...............that was a 1st, and probably the great laughs we've had with that gazebo.........like the day it blew away at the Speedfair event at Knockhill and the day Keith and I thought a car had run through it at Doune!!!![;)]
The bestest day was probably the Glen Rothes Flying Club event. I don't think I have laughed as much in a long time, as usual the company was on form that day and most of you will have seen that photo of Princes Leia which no doubt will have made you all laugh!!!![:)]

Please post your photos if any, as you've all seen my photos so don't want you to be bored with them again!!

It can only be Spa with Supercup winner in the very wet. Nothing got past and I had the slowest car out there!

Spot the real racing driver and the wannabees. [;)]

Charles, looks like everyone has memory loss...............................must be all the mulled wine at this time of year!![:D][:D][:D]

I didn't make it to enough events this year "¦ but I did really enjoy the recent day at Eastern Western and the barbecue at Thirlestane Castle!

The time we all got thrown off the grounds of Hopetoun House [:D][:D][:D][:D]
I watched a Neil Oliver program tonight and it showed you Hopetoun House and the very spot I swear I could see my tyre tracks

what's your best memory from any club event or funniest story from 2009...........

Well almost needing a new set of underwear when Scott went for car number 6 on the overtake from Inverary Winter run..........it was great have everyone beep and give me the finger when I wasn't even the fecker driving!!![]

And the funniest thing I can think of is when we all went to the Porsche Carrera cup day at knockers....."Just what actually happened to that last piece of bacon that was on the ground that seemed to get cooked and then disappeared? [8|]" We'll never know!!!

Actually the funniest night recently was me going to the toilet in Scotts house to find Kev dancing wi "ma burd" and telling me it was his bed for the night!!! Very good Kev, very good indeed!!!! [:D]

All in all a great year and roll on 2010!!!

There was the moment en route to Castle Venlaw in Peebles in January when Chris H decided to turn round and go home "¦ by slinging his GT3 into a sideways powerslide from a standing start at a sleepy village T-junction! Seeing that in my rear view mirror certainly sticks in the memory.

the highlight has to be ring trip,

by far the best one ever,

free champers, some stunning cars, track time, racing and great pals, roll on 2011 !

and possibly the second highlight was flying the tiger moth at the open day at glenrothes airfield, courtesy of gordon bell, fantastic experience !

cheers
scottie.

My best memory of the year from the Scottish PCGB membership was the glad news that Lliam [Alison's wee man] was ok!

If you think about it, you really cannot beat that news no matter how hard you try.

Julian, you are such a sweetheart and I totally agree with you.

The relief for Stan and me when we heard he was ok, was wonderful

xx

Can you two stop it? you'll have me bubbling again!
My best PCGB memory could only be me trying to cook an Indian lunch for John, Jane, Brian and Jenpot when I 36 weeks pregnant. Brians face was a picture. Think he thought I was going to pop!!

Alison

136 weeks pregnant!!!!!!!!!!!!

Where is your entry in the Guinness Book of Records?

Or have I misread something [8|]?

The Ring Trip... was immense, followed closely by Chris Hatchers trip home from the recent Glasgow meet.

Opportunity Knocks anyone!!!
