5k for a colour change sounds cheap!! 10 + would be more like it unless they werent talking about and engine out true colour change?

I know Mark is a perfectionist and trained as panel beater so has a good eye for detail.

Just looking for opinions on alternatives as I know they are always busy in there...which is a good sign really.

Des
Vic who?.........Has he got an orange TT?...would like to see pickie if he has.

That's right.....not an engine out. Just doors off to do shuts...under the lids etc....just in case I grow old with this car and want to change back to doom grey.

Lee, I can't work out if you have too much £££ or you are just a tart? [:D]

Pure orange looks good, I have seen it on a 997 and it looks more orange than blood orange which somehow looks more reddish orange on a larger car.

There was a 993 at Eynsham painted in a metallic orange similar to the lambo orange....looked great when the sun caught it....I would be tempted by this.
have a few pics, but hardly worth posting with the postage stamp sizes of pics on this forum.

Paul....ever since I saw the orange 997 at brands festival last year I've been toying with the idea...If I painted the TT it would mean I'd have to keep it long term as it would kill the value even more so.

My other hankering is for a 996 GT2 if I could get one in red I'd be happy for a while...........at least a week antway.[;)] Winter blues....I'm bored[]

Winter blues....I'm bored[]

The reason behind me wanting to get my car painted, Motec'd and suspension sorted!!

At least if all that is getting done it doesnt have to sit round not being used over Winter.

And dont forget the Manthey kit [;)]

Why don't you wrap the TT in vinyl, that way you can colour it any way you want and should you want it the original colour again just peel it off...

That's not as daft as it sounds...I know of a few people who have done this and it's almost impossible to tell...plus you could probably have any shade of colour you wanted!!

Only if I can park mine behind yours[&:]

Do you think all these "bandit" remarks from des stem from the fact that he's jealous cos he aint got no friends.?

Colour wrap was a line I was looking at about a year ago....seen it done and looks good to a point.....gonna cost a couple of bags and still no orange shuts etc

Best book it in soon Simon, we're filling up the order book pretty quickly and we only have around 12 working weeks until Christmas.....
