Hi All,

been lurking for a long while now, and finally, last weekend I took delivery of my new toy.. :)
A late 95 993 C2, 32k miles, and loads of factory extras :)
very pleased with it so far, its a blast to drive, so much more involving than the audi TT it replaced..

I was wanting to fit some clear front lenses and red turbo ones for the rear, and wondered if anyone could recommend a decent place to get the parts from ? I know theres lots of places on the internet, but I dont know what their reputations are.. So if anyone can recommend somewhere good :)

Anyhow, heres a couple of pictures of my new toy :) think I'll be here a lot from now on :)

cheers,
Toby

Welcome Toby

I've seen them both on ebay fairly regularily, clear fronts readily available from all the usual parts suppliers Jasmine, design 911, Porscheshop just check the prices first as they are variable

Cheers guys,

ordered some bits off design911 now, including the backup dme relay..

I'm also looking for a spare sunroof/foglight/horn relay but design911 dont seem to stock them, any ideas ?

Toby, congratulations on the car. Looks fabulous. I'm also a new (3 weeks) owner - it's just so different and enjoyable to drive - really can't get over the experience. Keep expecting the smile to wear off, but I drove it into work today (in town), and even though it does not feel right to drive a car like this in town, it still made me smile all the way.

Cheers all :)

Its certainly different to the mk1 mr2 and audi tt its replaced :)

Driving into work is a real pleasure now :) thing is, I have to keep taking the country route home !! :)

I remember that just "˜bought a 911' feeling, with the can't stop looking at it syndrome with 'smile' side effects." "" I have been an owner now for just over a year & I can categorically say I have failed to find a cure for this condition; if anything I think it may have actually got worse.

Well done & welcome"¦
