I have a 996 with a space gray leather and I want to fit the 3 spoke wheel. Does anyone know the best place to get one?

I think I could also pull off a black/alu wheel in the car as well is I cannot find the grey.

David,

I put a black 3 spoke in a grey interior and it looks just fine. Keep your eyes open on ebay as they sometimes crop up there. That's where I got mine although it had no airbag. I made an appeal to this forum and hey presto, a member had a black airbag sitting in his garage. I saved myself a lot of money as the complete wheel only set me back £200.

You could try http://www.teile.pl in Poland. If you speak German it helps, but they have a second hand 3-spoke in black for 250 Euros. (Go to the tequipment/996/interior section). I got them to quote on a new 3-spoke (tip) in savannah leather, which worked out at about £500, but I haven't got round to ordering it yet, so can't comment on the service.

KTR I assume you have the instructions for fitting the 3 spoke. If not let me know as I have them somewhere in pdf format. The only tools you need are long(ish) reach torx drivers to remove the screws.

There were two for sale at the TIPEC event today in black with airbags. One was £500 on the Porschapart stand, the other was about £350 on the Porschalink stand.

Thanks for the info guys. Managed to get one from Porschapart.

Graham if you have the instruction for fitting it that would be a great help. My e-mail address is info@k-tecracing.com
