. Personally I don't think you gone mad, you've bought a thing of beauty and you'll have yrs of no faffing about with restoration fun with the car. Am I right in saying this car was featured in a Porsche mag a few months back??? I know I've read about it and swooned over it. EnjoyORIGINAL: drmark
After posting that I was looking for a 2.2 / 2.4s I have gone completely mad and bought this.

When I made my offer the car was on its way up to Kendal in a covered transporter for a first service with engine builder Mike Bainbridge - it has done 600 miles and is now run in. It will then go back to Alan in Southampton for a final PDI before delivery to me at home. Then I get to have a go. I have driven 2.2s before, but never one that is factory fresh like this one. Can't wait

Tried to join up to DDK but AOL emails are banned it would seem so couldn't get past the registration process.
