Better quality anti roll bar bushes

I replaced the rear anti roll bar bushes on my Boxster at 92,000 miles - about 9 months ago. The symptom at that time was a knocking/rattling noise evry time I drove over an uneven surface. When I got underneath the car and grabbed hold of the anti roll bar, you could actually see and feel it moving around, loose inside the rubber bush.
Anyway, I fitted new ones, bought from my OPC (only about £19 the pair); these were a nice tight fit and did the trick.
However, just recently the knocking sound has returned and a check under the car reveals that the bushes are worn again, with the anti roll bar rattling all over the place. The car has now covered nearly 100k which means I've only got 8000 miles out of a set of bushes which seems very short. All I can think is that the bumpy road that I have to drive along every time I leave my house is finishing the bushes off very quickly (the road in question is only about 40 yards long) or the bushes were slightly suspect or - I'm missing something...
Anyone got any ideas? I'm probably going to go for poly bushes this time to see if they last any longer.

Have you checked the anti-roll bar linkages - I replaced after 25k miles - world of difference.

Found somewhere that sells Poly bushes - PowerFlex. However they list bushes for either a 19mm or 20mm anti -roll bar. Anyone got any idea what's fitted as standard size on my car? Its a 2000 Boxster 3.2 S.

If I am reading PET correctly it is 19.2 mm for the rear bushings. This is for a 2000 S with the standard suspension.

At my last service at JMG in Bournmouth, I noticed they were fitting composite bushes to a Boxster S throughout along with some other tuning bits.

I might go for them when i my control arm bushes begin to squeek (like the previous 3 boxsters did!)
