What happens when the motorsport and modified industry collide at the same racing circuit in Kent for 1 day and 1 day only??
Well you could say that would result in phenomenal performance, stunning styling and adrenalin pumping live demos.....but to put it simpler, why not put it into four words......

THE BHP PERFORMANCE SHOW.

The BHP Performance Show is a 1 day action packed show that provides live demonstrations from various forms of motorsport including Rallycross Supercars, Drifting, Time Attack, Rage Buggies and Rallycars.

We will also be celebrating the 40th Anniversary of the Ford Escort with a specific dedicated area displaying the very best ranging from Mk 1's to Cosworths.

Butthat's not all, we will be providing you with the opportunity of Public Track Time! Push your car to the limit around the challenging 1 mile tarmac circuit. We will be running limited Track time on a first come first served basis so book up early to avoid disappointment!

BHP will be held at Lydden Hill Race Circuit, which is a new venue to the car show industry so is sure to be one of the biggest, if not the best car show in the South, especially with the mixture of high performance motorsport, the very best from the top car clubs in the UK and big named traders.

BHP has managed to attracted some Superb Traders, Jaw dropping Performance cars and blisteringly fast Race cars and all are raring to go for the first show of its kind at Lydden Hill Race Circuit in Kent on May 5th.
The show is catering for everyone from the motoring enthusiasts to the everyday families looking for a brilliant day out.
We have an allocated family area providing bouncy castles, face painting, slides, stalls and much more so that the mums and children can get away from it all whilst the men do what they do best, drawl over cars!! (Sorry guys no naked women at this show)
Public track time has a major appeal to all drivers from novices that have never been on a circuit to MSA license holders looking to shakedown their race cars, that's why we have incorporated this into the show. We have Public track time available for all types of drivers and we promise that everyone will have the drive of their life around the 1 mile tarmac circuit.
For those people wanting to sit back and relax and just watch all the action, we have superb live demos lined up for the day including high performance race cars involving

Pro-Rallycross Supercars,
Time Attack cars
JDM All stars Pro Drift CarsSeries
Rage Buggies
WRC And Group B Rallycars

Car & Owners Clubs are at the heart of the Modified and performance car world and without car clubs and forums shows like ours would not be possible, so we are providing the public with a unique opportunity to see the best cars from modified saxos to high performance Evos on static display. All car clubs and show cars will be automatically entered into certain competitions where superb prizes can be won!

Traders are always a must at the top shows, that's why we have half the paddock allocated to traders, and we are not talking wicker furniture and hat stands as at most other shows, we are talking performance and motorsport traders who can tune and style your cars to the max.

So as you may have gathered this day is not a day to be missed. Its only £10 for admission and under 12's get in for free!!! That's half price entry compared to some other shows, and when you are trying to cater for a whole family to get in you don't want to be paying over £100 before your day is even started!!

BHP will be supporting the Kent Air Ambulance so any donations will be greatly appreciated, without the Air Ambulance circuits such as ourselves could not operate, and many motoring lives would be lost, and without donations the helicopter could not take to the skies. So please help us by contributing at the event.

**late press**

***We held back a few sessions for people wanting to take there car round the circuit but could not book early, meaning if you bring your lincense and a crash helmet on the day, theres a good chance of getting on circuit.

Also if you want to attend the show but your club or site is not, we have a individual showcar area for on the day entries. All cars in the show (not public car park) on the day will be entered in to the best car in show***

We look forward to seeing you at the show!!

I am going it's only round the corner from me[:)]. Might even take my crash helmet too! Would guess if there was enough of us we could have a small display. Bit late notice but worth a try.

Just got back from this event and had a great time. Well done to the event organisers. A good show all round. Had a little go around the circuit myself and had fun. Great little circuit complex in places and challenging. A bit small to strech the legs of the RS but good fun all the same.
