hi all just wanted to say a big thanks to STU for sending me the number plate lights,
had them wired up today and they work great.
nearly new also.
the car goes for mot tomorrow and if everything goes ok paint tomorrow after noon.
will let you know how it goes

Hi Paul, glad you are happy with the "as new" 30 year old number plate lights mate....LOL...they do attest to Porsche's original build quality back in the 70's early 80's. Certainly between my '79 924 and my '89 S2 there is a massive change in quality, and might I say built in obsolence...Still rather do love the S2 though...

Good luck with MOT and paint job, and trust you have many years of happy motoring.
