Hi All,

I am after some direction and or advice please, looking to take the car (986) across to Europe in the summer and was hoping to throw on a couple of bikes.

Does anyone have any experience of this or know if it is even achievable.

Yours hopefully

Check out the 986 Boxster tequipment there is a frame which fits over the roof with roof bars, it can carry ski racks, roof box or bike racks.

Occasionally, they appear on Ebay.[:D]

Thanks for this, I've got a link to http://www.porsche.com/uk/accessoriesandservice/personalisation/tequipment/boxster-986/touring/ ,but I guess this equipment is not around very much, if at all.

Is that your reference to ebay? Would I be wasting my time trying an OPC?

Does anyone have any experience of these, be great to hear if its a workable solution or just for show and does not work in real life.

Thanks again

I bought a ski rack off someone on ebay who carried her bike on top of her Boxster, I don't know if she managed to sell her carrying frame, they are rare but at that time there was another on ebay, good luck searching. I'll see if I can find her email address and drop her a line.

You could check with Porshapart or Jasmine. But you never know, the OPC may be able to help.[:D]
