Billet cam covers

your ebay link doesn't work.....I know quite a few of our US friends on rennlist fit these as they believe the standard plastic covers warp and do not seal correctly......I have replaced my lower cam cover gaskets for a parts cost of £20.....they do not leak......if you cannot cure leaks with new gaskets and need to replce the cam covers,,,these are an option......personally I wouldn't bother with the expense, it's not as if you see them under the car is it?

try this link

thanks for the reply - not bothered about the looks at all, I have been told by two independents that you mights as well put new covers on when you do the gaskets and these are similar money. To be honest I was going to change them myself but I can't seem to get the one bolt out with the least clearance where it is v close to heat exchanger. ideas appreciated

You might as well put new covers on when you do gaskets??? Looks like covers are $300 or £150 ish......for the sake of £20 worth of gaskets!!!!!
I would try the gaskets a few times before I changed cam covers as well peronally. I got mine off with small allen key and allen key socket and swivel extension,,,,only did lower covers....top cam covers rarely leak..

thanks, the OE ones are £50 each, hence my thought process - will try the gaskets first. - can't get one bolt out, right under heater exchanger
