Bilstein B16 or KW Variant 3

Looking through old threads about lowered and sports suspensions, the general consensus is that the ride is noticeably harsher with the M030 suspension. Richard Hamilton changed the dampers on his old 996 with the M030 kit back to normal ones and that helped. Has anyone any experience with the new Bilstein B16 or KW Variant 3 kit in comparison to the M030 kit. I am tempted to lower my car a little but don't want the ride to be too harsh, well, no harsher than when moving from 17 to 18 inch rims.

GT Porsche has a good article on the KW's this month, all be it on a C4S, worth a read.

Business partner has the KWs on his M3 CSL and the handling is superb but a bit harsh, to be honest he probably needs to look at increasing the ride height slightly, very low at present.

I'm considering the KW's on mine...
