Bilstein HD Shocks - How long do they last ?

Anyone got any experience on this one ? I had my Bilstein HDs fitted about 60,000 miles ago, and wonder if they are starting to feel a bit "floaty".

Anyone else had to replace theirs yet ?

Anyone done higher mileage on theirs ?

I do hope they are Mo.
9M fitted mine less than 20K ago and they are in terrible condition. The finish is badly corroded.
Unfortunately they are 18 months old so no comeback and I understand 9M no longer supply these for that reason. I thought Billies were supposed to be good gear but the KW's on my Golf have had much more stick and are still in great condition. Sorely disappointed as they are not exactly cheap.

This is a surprise to hear - I thought HD was short for Heavy Duty, meaning they don't corrode or get tired quickly!

Thanks Marv - I had forgotten what HD stood for. Somewhere in the back of my mind, I had a feeling it meant High Definition !
