My car failed it's M.O.T due to oil leaking from the two front shocks i have koni's on my car, i would like to replace them with Bilstein shocks what ones do i need for a 1970 T and will i need to replace the struts or can i keep my ones on my car.

Sure you haven't got Boge struts (my 71 T has). . in which case I believe you just need the inserts.
Red: Koni
Green: Bilstein
Blue or Black: Boge
Yellow: Can be either Koni or Bilstein)

I more then likely have the boge struts as you point out
the inserts are koni i know that much, what is your car
running on do you have bilsteins.

Boge everything . . . . far too soft. This, combined with my tractor style steering wheel, big profile tyes and lack of anti-roll bars makes handling 'interesting' . If I had the money, I'd change the inserts to something a little stiffer.
