Biofuels ???

So apparently 2.5% of fuel sold at the pumps should be biofuel as of today.
I havent see any.
Is this sold separately or mixed with other fuels ?
There is an argument it causes more harm than fossil fuel.
Is the government subsidizing this or are we going to be 'tucked up' further by the exchequer !

I think it is simply a ruling that all fuels must have a percentage of their volume made up of fuel derived from the biofuel process, as opposed to a new type of fuel.

There is indeed an argument that says that the destruction of the rain forest areas far outweighs any carbon emissions benefit derived by planting and growing the crops for the biofuels.

I think that a fair proportion (5% from memory) of the Tescos 99 fuel is biofuel, and my S2 has run happily on that for many thousands of miles ...
