Bizarre Gearbox/Clutch snag -- Help/Advice!!!

Any ideas?

Symptons

1. Engine off - Will engage any gear relatively smoothly
2. Engine on - Will no engage any gear at all.
3. Engine/Gearbox warmed through (15-20mins) gears started to engage in order 6-5-4-3-2-1 R (Bizarre)
4. Once warm gear engage relative smoothly with no issues.

I have replaced the Gearbox Oil - with recommend from forum from Opie Oils. Gear change appeared smoother, however, still same snags.

Suspect clutch? however, had new clutch approx 15k ago any suggestions?

Clutch dragging and not releasing properly when pedal pushed fully to floor. Does it judder when reversing as this is a sign of clutch beginning to fail.
 
Sticky clutch slave cylinder?? An hydraulic bleed has got to be worth a try but a new cylinder might be needed to fix it.

I've never understood why clutch judder occurs in reverse and not in forward gears. It's not as though the clutch "knows" whether the car is going forwards or backwards. Is it wear or windup in the driveshafts or engine mounts? Is it the LSD?

I think reverse ratio is numerically much closer to 2nd than 1st - so perhaps it would judder in 2nd when clutch was near to end of life. I know mine juddered and stalled easily in reverse (esp when cold) and when I change the clutch it suddenly became a pleasure to drive backwards![:)]
 
The symptoms sound like you should get prepared to change the clutch and slave cylinder... Do them both at the same time
