Sorry to report today Wednesday 3rd September 2014, the day when Porsche Club GB buried its last founder member, Ron Smith. I learnt that Early 911 driver of note, Bjorn Waldegard died last Friday 29th August 2014. We should offer our condolences and thanks for bringing the Early 911 into the public attention by winning the 1969 Monte Carlo Rally for Porsche and his many subsequent wins in many other cars. He was a truly great, Rally driver who has now gone OTL. RIP.
