Do anybody have any recommendations for products to use for "cleaning" the bellows, spoliers, smile etc??

thanks
Andrew

In the kit that I purchased some years ago, from Zymol, was a bottle of tyre cleaner/preserver, which I didn't get around to using, until one day I tried it on the spoiler, smile etc., and it works just fine (well, they are rubber(ish), after all).

Takes a lot of elbow grease to get the things clean, though, so I tend to do it only when applying the field glaze top-up, which you have to allow to dry before polishing.

Autoglym do a good product that can be left on for shiny (yuk!) finish or wiped off for a matt finish.

Andrew,
i used autoglym bumper care on the rear spoiler rubber, smile and front lip, and armour-all on the bumper inserts. Seemed to give good results.
However i have recently been told that the autoglym contains solvents that will eventually harden the soft rubber on the rear spoiler and was recommended to use the Zymol wax that i apply to the paintwork! I have not tried this yet, but might be worth a go. I have tried Zymol Seal on the smile with good results as long as you don't want a really glossy finish.
Just my experience for what it's worth.
Gus.

Zymol Tyre, is good for all exterior plastic, and tyres. The best I've found by far.

I use this on ALL my clients cars, and my friends 964 Turbo, on all exterior rubber, i wouldn't use anything elso!!!
