Hi,

The 993 I propose to buy has a Blaupunkt Brehen RCM43 Headunit fitted and I wish to connect a Blaupunkt CDC A072 10 disk cd changer however I am not sure of the cable connections on the headunit are they din like on the cd changer or a mini iso?[] I do not have access to the car to check and there are 2 cables available both doing the same job but with different connections (Typical!!) at £45.00 each I have no wish to get the wrong one, can anyone help??

Thanks

they should all be generic as they are the same brand, so shouldn't be a problem, otherwise there would be blaupunkt adaptors to make it fit that you may need to get... which you will know when you get the car....

but IMHO GET RID OF THE BLAUPUNKT [&:] any Becker, Alpine or Pioneer instead !

Do yourself a favour and wait until you have the car. Blaupunkt varied cables a little, even on the same models of changer and head unit; (on-going development, I suppose). It will be far easier to match the cable when you have definite knowledge of the head unit / changer connections.

If you are doing the installation yourself, which you can because it is quite straight forward, I can let you have an idea of how and where to route the cables. It can be a little difficult navigating the front bulkhead sometimes!

Regards
