Blocked drain holes

After the recent heavy rain, my car alarm went crazy and all sorts of electrical malfunctions occured. Spoiler would not deploy, electric folding roof got stuck in the half open position, and the revesing lights were on permanenly. Took it to the local Porche dealer. Informed that the drain holes under the folding roof were blocked, and therefore water flooded into the cabin. Two control boxes under the front passenger seat had to be replaced and the carpet had to be taken out and dried. Final bill £1370!
If you live in an area with lots of trees around, check those drain holes.
PS, had the garage show me where the drain holes are, you have to half raise the roof and disconnect all the control rods etc. not simple.

I don't think you really need to do any more than half raise the roof to get to the drain holes.
It is very bad that Porsche do not warn about this in the owners manual - your experience is not uncommon!

Hi
New to Boxster ownership - can anybody describe where the drain holes are or even supply a couple of pics.
