Bloody ladders! Now looking for a paint shop!!

After some assistance from the local guys.

A pair of very heavy ladders have fallen over in my garage and damaged the rear quater of my 993, 2 massive dents and damaged paint. My cars in to Dave Rapier next week for a new AC Evaperator so I want a paint shop recommendation please for shops you have used or whose work you have seen, preferably with experiance of the 993 rear window scuttle rust issue! Fortunatly the ladder has hit the side with the scuttle rust so it would require blending into the wing so 2 birds with one stone and all that! So any advice would be appreciated, possibly Teesside or N Yks as Dave is in Brompton on Swale.

Thanks in advance guys.

Hi Mike,
I had a similar experience last year when a cupboard fell off the wall in my garage with it's contents and all landing on the Boxster's bonnet leaving a deep dent.Following a discussion with Lloyd body shop guys who were present at the R3 annua showl in Beamish and also a number of examples of their work on several of the clubs cars present I entrusted them to carry out the work for me.The car came back with a factory finnish and being yellow it was blended in perfect.I know Newcastle is a little way out from Brompton on Swale but you will get a good job done which is approved by Porsche.
Good luck.

Oh and they will give discount for PCGB member's if you ask!

Thanks Mike, I know of Lloyds and have had my own experiances so would prefer to avoid them. Hopefully others will be along with some alternatives however, thanks for your input and Im pleased it all worked out for you. Its not the best of feelings damaging your own car, even by accident!

Cheers

Mike

I would give Pride and Joy Classics in Middlesbrough a try. I have used them myself and I know others have too. Price is very good and in my experience the workmanship is excellent.

Cheers guys, got her booked nto MK Bodyworks at Ilverston near York. Has a history of 993 works.
