I've not had my 964 C4 targa too long, and, having had some advice from your good selves have chipped it,made my own cup pipe using the the original silencer, some steam pipe,a hacksaw and a welding set and fitted Bilstein dampers,oh,there's also been a lot of polishing.Anyway what I was getting round to was the 1250 miles round the Scottish Highlands in five days,one morning of rain,the rest in the sun.I can't believe how comfy the car was,even her who must be obeyed didn't complain,and all done in speed and style.Every hotel we stayed at,somebody wanted to talk about the car and if you haven't been to the Highlands drop everything and go now,the roads are fantastic and relatively quiet this time of year,can't wait to go again.

I know what you mean. I recently did a 750 mile round trip to Cornwall. Late in the evening in the bar of the Inn we stopped in, I overheard the locals commenting on the beautiful Porsche in the car park. []
