Blower motor problem?

There is a noise coming from top left area of engine that sounds as if it is coming from the trunking. It sounds like a poorly running/noisy bearing.

A few questions for the experts out there - does this sound like the blower motor or could it be something else? Can the bearing be replaced or do I need to replace the motor? Is this an expensive item and is it easy to access/work on etc?

Grateful for any thoughts. Car has to be sold and selling it in anything less than a fully working condition is not an option, so 'turn the blower off' is not a course of action!
 
P.S i dont think that it is possible to change the worn bearing and the new 993 blower assembly costs £199.80 of your hard earned to get a new one from the porscheshop.co.uk
