Blowing (!) Issue

Afternoon chaps

I've noticed that when my blower is set to recirculate, the blowing diminishes a bit when the engine is under load. It's fine at idle and cruise. Have noticed before it does this with the AC running but put 2 and 2 together today and realised that putting the AC on must engage recirculate. Does this happen to anybody else? Anybody know cause or cure?

Also noticed that engaging recirculate accelerates the power of the blowers a bit. Is this something blocked maybe or is this normal?
Also noticed when on recirculate, and set to hot, air stays hot all the time. When pulling in fresh air it starts hot then dwindles off to lukewarm (temp knob at max). I suppose this points to only the thermistor in the engine bay needing replaced which is a bonus as I'd planned to replace all 3 at some point to cure this issue. I've got thermistors awaiting deployment!

Anyway any thoughts/inputs be much appreciated.

Cheers

Stuart
