Shortly for sale so getting the feelers for it and open to advice, theories, suggestions
my mates has a 3.0 s2 cabrio
bodywork in need of loving,..few small dents scrapes...
mechanicially had lots spent recently..just had new fuel filter and associated pipework, tank cleaned out, pump checked, sender checked, new relay..
belt and balance belt approx 2 years ago and car hardly used.
new leads, new coil, new dizzy cap, new rotar...
has new braided front brake flexis and has goodridge on the back also..one of the fornts had a ickle bit of a nick in it and was advised on last mot so its had a new pair made..
fluid change etc...
new osr inner cv boot as it was perishing..
so in theory its had a full service within last 3 thou.....odd sunday drive and garaged...full fuel system checked and parts renewed, full ignition system check and parts renewed, rear brakes checked incuding park shoes...couple a new holding springs in there too as were in poor condition.
interior is the bluey leather and is in good condition leather wise in relation to age but needs the white beading sorting as has come adrift on seats.
the hood i think has had a replacement at some stage...has its pop on cover etc..all fully working and ok..
car also has air compressor and tool box etc..
fully alarmed up and new battery just fitted to vehicle..a new business venture (hes a sparky) means an unwated sale...im the poor muppet thats sorted all the bits on it for him as he rightly said he wanted it to be all good and ok to sell.
Scuse the fool behind the wheel...it was on a road trip to scotland to pick up the old tvr...which hes also had to sell....
be nice car with a bit of love...
Has approx 145k i think, recently its had around 750 squids spent in reconditioning of bits and bobs
had new rear calipors in its history, new alternator...etc..prob lots more to tell...
oh, also just been taxed...unsure on test will found out..
hes looking for approx 5500 as he appreciates it warrants a paint job and a bit of retrimming to make nice...seen lots with simular miles but better bodywise for lots more..
let us know what you guys think.
he also has the old wheels and would sell the car with these on if required.
