Blyton Park Classics Track Day

My other club, the TR Register, are holding an open pit lane (for most of the time) track day for classic car owners on Friday 29 June, ahead of the TR Register / Pistons in the Park weekend on the Saturday and Sunday where we'll also be running an AutoSolo open to all cars.

The definition of classic cars we are using is at least 25 years old. The reason for "most of the time", is that if I get some first time / nervous drivers I will stop the open pit lane and only allow 6 cars on the track for the occasional 15 minute period.

The price is an amazing £35 in the morning (9.00 - 12.30), £50 for the afternoon (1.30 to 5.00) or £85 for the whole day.
Book for the track day on the TR Register shop http://www.tr-registershop.co.uk/track-day-92-c.asp
Book for the Pistons in the Park weekend on their website. Details of the AutoSolo to be confirmed. http://pistonsinthepark.co.uk/

Hope to see your there.

Ohh interesting!

Had given up on track days as cost was prohibitive but this is a bargain.

Would it be possible for an R7 member to tag along?

Thanks

Rick

Of course, provided your car is at least 25 years old. That's the definition of classic I've agreed with track manager Richard.

1989 So I will be one of the younger ones.

Has he still got that McLaren? I'll remind him it's not a classic if he uses it for the sighting laps :ROFLMAO:

Booked. Thank you.

Sadly no. Richard sold the track to Ginetta and his company car has switched from the McLaren's to an all electric car. Not sure who owns the Lamborghini tractor, it might still be Richard but I guess that may have been part of the deal.

Younger and faster.

Entered!

Thanks Kevin, great stuff. Makes up for not being able to attend the R4 event this year. Cheers, Ian.

Hi Kevin,

I may not be able to make this on Friday.

I've not been sent joining instructions yet but is the ticket transferable to another club member providing they meet the classic criteria?

Thanks

Rick
