Out of place I know but...

Having "leathered up" LIL last year I got carried away and bought leather for my BMW. Unfortuately the connectors under the seat were different as is the wiring loom - I have top end leather (probably 525/530) in bottom end (520SE) body.

I loathe my local BMW dealer with a passion - any idea were I can get the wiring diagrams from so I can get the airbags reconnected - I've been looking at the red warning light for too many months....

You'd do better on a BMW-specific forum - there are some good ones for the E39 (I posted on one quite a lot when I was contemplating getting one a few years ago.)

Or try Pistonheads. There are some knowledgable people on there.

I'm a moderator on here and you will get some help. Even if you get the wiring done properly you still need a $tealer or Autologic to reset the light.
 
I had an E39 Alpina B10 V8, what a car that was, did a trip to Italy in it, 3000 miles in 12 days 2 years ago. Wish I had never sold it now. A very rapid car and well under 10 K for it!
