Bo Ness Hill climb

Just been to the Bo ness Hill climb revival again, just wondering why there is no club representation here? The TIPEC folks are there each year. Nice day out, easy access around the paddock and a nice friendly vibe. Just a thought.

Unfortunately think it clashed with the Grantown Motormania outing had a good turnout there and apart from the parking was a good day!

Don't think that event would have affected the BHC in any way TBO as this would have been mainly R2 members who would have attended. The BHC would be mainly central belt owners R1 .
I have attended the BHC for many years with TIPEC and it is always a great event and well attended and one of our members Margaret Adey competes in the hill climb so we always go along to support her .Still to be confirmed but think she got 3rd in her class

Hi John,

For information, I did actually email an official at the Bo'ness Hill Climb Revival offering PCGB attendance, but sadly for some reason this was never acknowledged.

However, speaking for R1, unfortunately we can't always attend every event of the year, as much as I would like us to. Being a very busy time of year on the events scene, sometimes a decision has to be made as to where and when the region represents the club.

Of course that does not negate any Porsche owner, club member or not from using their initiative and attending an event of their own volition.

R1 has enjoyed a varied and fairly busy year so far and hopefully, looking ahead this will continue with a further variety and selection of events in the future. To that end, I'm very keen to encourage club members to make suggestions as to what they would like me to arrange or organise.

Many thanks for the input.

Regards,

Donald.

Thanks Donald, appreciate the update. I know from experience attending events can be difficult.I rarely make many of the Club events due to working overseas, Sunday's run will be the second in three years, that's just the way the cookie crumbles.
There were a multitude of car clubs represented and I did visit the TIPEC crowd, just wondered about getting PCGB noticed, perhaps in conjunction with TIPEC to avoid over representing the brand.
