Board computer /Tachometer

When the computer indicator in tachometer stopped showing information I first thought it was a little lamp behind the gouge... it appeared worse [] The chip itself has gone and I have to change the whole tachometer unit... The new one is very expensive at OPC (something like 700 pounds...)
Any good advice where to look for used tachometer or where to get a new one but cheaper?
Screened e-bay, but no success...

There are places that can repair these things.
Usually, it's a transistor that needs to be replaced.

Try using this http://www.1stchoice.co.uk/ before phoning anyone up. I needed a door lock, well actually I only needed the trigger as it had broke - that's what happens if you don't sort out the latch mechanism when it starts to stiffen up []. I sent off the request last night and phoned today from work without viewing the responses. Porsch-apart wanted £80 + VAT and delivery on the phone and their e-mail response when I got in tonight was £52.88 inclusive. Unfortunately I bought one from Partssource for £55 + VAT and delivery this afternoon [&o]. Prestige Salvage promised to phone back with a price but never did - obviously too busy being happy somewhere!

That'll teach me to be impatient but I know for next time.

Thanks to all guys!
1stchoice worked for me! Placing my order today for 1/5 the price of new!
Cheers!
