Body Shop Recommendation

Hi All,

I'm looking to have the stone chips done on my bumper and bonnet and then have paint shield or similar applied. Does anybody have any recommendations of a good body shop and somewhere that applies paint shield or something similar.

I have used Pride and Joy in Middlesbrough for bodywork and have been happy with both the price and quality of the work.
I will be getting them to paint the sills on the 968 later this year.
 
Hi Mark, I used Lloyds Bodyshop, Hunter's Rd, Newcastle upon Tyne NE2 4ND good job and Porsche approved.

Cheers Greg, they are on my list to get a quote from. The only problem I have is that I really need to find a good company in the vicinity that can apply paint protection film as well. Don't want to have the car done and then get stone chips travelling to have it fitted. Do you know if they do film paint protection? I'm at D&G next Friday so I'll probably pop in and have a word with them.

Hi Mark,

We have used Lloyds and they do paint protection film - we got it done on the rear wheels arches. Very happy with the service and got a free courtesy car.

Another recommendation for Lloyds - they have done work for me on two cars and the service is excellent.

Hi Mark.
This company are excellent. Ive had my Focus RS Mk2 , Jag and im having my 911 done here once its been detailed by Heavenly Detailing. The latest SUN TEC self healing films are absolutely fab. My 911 is being covered in their clear film in July

Have a look mate. They don't knife the film on the car its all done by computer scanning and graphic plotter

Heaton Park Coachworks amazing work done by these guys totally recommend them, I had some work done by Llloyds a good few years ago was not good enough for me to be honest

Hi, I've already got a quote off Chris for the whole front of the car and rear bumper which I thought was very reasonable. He was a recommendation from RPM (Knaresborough) where I bought the Boxster. Don't think he does protection film though.
