Guys,

Who should I go to for paintwork ( bumper re-spray ) in our area ?

Top quality is the name of the game not lowest price.

Regards

Yves

were abouts are you? i would recommend Dave cross body repairs near horncastle. had mine done there a couple of times and can not complain with the work. Tel: 01507-526326

Thanks for the tip. I am within shouting distance of Horncastle so no probs there. What sort of work have you had done and was it on a Porsche ? In two minds whether to have the job done really, got a very small crease in the rear bumper which you have to go looking for to spot but its annoying all the same. You know how these things are. Yves

first time was stone chips on bonnet and bumper. did a good job, sanded back to metal/plastic etc. 2nd time was a rear bumper crease but it was noticeable, again did a cracking job. i did book it in through 911 sport though, think it works out cheaper!!

Hello Yves, hows the 997 x51 withdrawal symptoms treating you. Sold my own C2S two weeks ago and could have wept as the new owner drove off with sports exhaust selected (only countered by getting a top price going private). I had someone reverse into my 320si earlier this year and used Sycamore body shop in Peterborough, I found them reasonable in price and the standard of repair was as new which I wasn`t expecting with the carbon blue/black paintwork. I sold the car in april due to engine management repeat issues but the resprayed back bumper wasn't picked up, so if bmw sycamores is in your catchment area might be worth a try. Are you coming to the R4 rebirth on the 5th Sept might be good to chat to someone else who has gone through 997 cold turkey. Paul
