body work repair

Hi

Have very small dent on square edge of front wheel arch on 996 4sc, 2005.

Porsche OPC quoted £700 for repair. [:(]

Does anybody know of good repairers that are not OPC but are still approved by porsche warranty.

If not do you know of any good repairers in london area, based in west london.

thanks

Porsche East London use the bodyshop of VW Abridge in Loughton. They eventually got my fault sorted after I refused the car twice - once for forgetting to repaint the bonnet, and secondly for forgetting to paint the bonnet..... You can't make this stuff up.

I know this doesn't answer your question, but if you must use a body shop (as in if the dent master chap Richard mentioned can't do it) get an OPC with a good rep to sort it out as the results should be flawless and fully guaranteed. I recommend OPC Cambridge - fantastic service and they'll collect and deliver as well.

thanks Richard and Dapster

will try Redaing dent removal first and then down the route of opc if necessary.

thanks

Not sure about the front, but the edge of the rear arch is double skinned, so alledgedly can't be repaired by the dent removal guys.... However if you find a good one they will give it a shot.
Luckily I did find a good one who whilst wrecking one of his tools did remove 95% of the dent [:)]

Additonally Asif, if you look at the inside back page of Porsche Post, it lists all the approved Porsche repair shop..
So you could cut out the OPC anyhow...[;)]
