Bodyshell for collection - Hampshire[FONT=verdana, geneva"] [FONT=verdana, geneva"]Do you know anyone who may like the old bodyshell from E844 RAH. It is a Category 'C' Insurance write off and generally in good sound condition apart from the damage to the drivers door and front wing. All useful panels and parts have been removed- FREE IF COLLECTED - It could be used for Hillclimb or Track days or used for a road car rebuild. It would however need inspecting prior to use and always a Cat 'C' car. I would need it to be collected in the next couple of weeks as my garage is being rebuilt. I am not sure how useful this sarcastic comment is, or maybe I have missed something? If so would you please offer an explanation..

The way I read it, it wasn't at all sarcastic - it was just a comment on the fact that the original post said "All useful panels and parts have been removed". That would imply to me, and, I guess, Paul, that there was nothing of use to be had - rendering the remainder somewhat useless. Didn't seem a very positive selling point - even if you were giving it away!!!

Strangely enough the bodyshell was collected to-day by a grateful Chris Hood who required the rear panel and for his wife's 924S. So it did someone a favour!!

Rear panel now removed ready for restoration of my wifes car, also removed power steering rack and in the process of fitting this to the 924S. [:D][:D][:D]

Many thanks again Kevin, as far as we are concerned the shell has been a godsend. Will send you pics when all done. Send our regards to Carol.
