Hi

I'm picking up my new 944 s2 cab at lunch time and it needs abit of body work. What bodyshop around here have a good rep?

Thanks

Contact Steve Digby at Perfect Paint in Tanners Drive, Newport Pagnell. Please mention my name. Steve has the Mercedes, Landrover and Volvo contracts for bodywork in MK. I entrusted them to a respray of my 964 some years ago - beautiful job! Cheers Dave

As Chris said, the place in Wavendon - which used to be called TABS Enterprises - has recently been bought out and now operates under the name of Style and Performance Cars. As far as I know the original owner, Tim Brewer, is no longer there although I think Adrian, the painter IS still there although I'd advise you to check. Adrian's work is very good and they always had an attention to detail that was impressive. It's impossible to know how the new owners might have changed things since my car was done over 2 years ago but if you pop along there and have a chat with them you'll quickly get an impression of how well you can work with them.

Regards

Dave

Is this the place, Colin? I need some rust attended to on my 9-year-old Tigra. Wonder if they can do it for less than the value of the car?!

I dont know, they charged me £610 for fitting a second hand wing painting it and for fixing the rust in the rear. I was quoted nearly a grand else where

The place I went is call UCR and they are at unit 8 park farm buisness park Cranfield road. I think I went to the wrong place and I meant to go to the one you mentioned. But they seem alright and they do a load of work for the Merc dealer/head office.
