Hey All,

Have some lacquer peel on my front bumper and light scratches here and there. Any recommended bodyshops in the Tyne & Wear or County Durham area? Im based in Seaham.

Cheers,

Greg

I've always used Lloyds bodyshop in Newcastle, probably not the cheapest but always do a great job and a Porsche recommended repairer. I've also heard good things about Heaton Park Coachworks, I'm sure you’ll quite a few more replies if you give it a day or two the forum can be a little slow at this time of year.

Regards

Greg.

Hi Greg,

I have used Heaton Park Coachworks and highly recommend them for paintwork, unfortunately they are not keen on restoration work involving metalwork/welding - but it seems you don't need that.

I am also searching for bodyshops who can do the restoration work, close to success now, more than happy to share my opinion on some places over private message if you need them.

Cheers

Steve

Lloyds in Newcastle have always been 1st class in my experience. As a bit of a left field suggestion try Mark at the Newburn Motor Museum, he's also done some great work for me.
