Bodyshop recommends?

Hi, I have recently joined the club but spend most of my time in Devon, however Northants is my home town and the car is kept near here mostly. My 993 needs a bit of TLC to remove some scratches and tidy up around the windscreen, can anyone recommend a good bodyshop in the area?

Thanks

Although a touch "out of region" I would recommend Francis Tuthills. But, they don't do quick jobs, are finicky (more than I am) and therefore a little bit ££.

They only work on Porsche and mostly, 911's

In over 7,000 miles of post Tuthills work, (5yrs) I can report not a single (not even one) paintchip and ZERO change in appearance. Well pleased.

Hi Dave - yes good memory, but only 6 parts that (due to me incorrectly specifying) were not touched by Tuthills.
  • Front valence
  • Rear valence
  • 2 x over sills
  • Rear L / R rear valence flanks.
All were blasted, re-shaped, acid etch primed, primed and re-sprayed in GP white for £100 but I had all the labour of removing and refitting (which I did with SS fixings).

I'm very pleased and the company in Olney is a small 2 man band outfit that are RR / Bentley refinishers - very meticulous. Incidentally, they also resprayed my Time Trial bike in black for £50 !(I had quotes from specialist bike folks for £200 !)
